I have a new agent who's representing me for the book
I'm writing, about the last few years. I'm excited, happy,
daunted, hopeful, and a bit scared. I'm baffled that
so much is happening. I'm just about everything.
Especially, I'm writing.
You may have seen the article by Anne Karpf
in the Guardian recently. It led to my new agent contacting me.
If you haven't seen the article yet, it's at
https://www.theguardian.com/society/2026/jun/09/dementia-rebels-diagnosed-determined-change-peoples-minds. I'm now an official Dementia Rebel.
This could catch on.
I began this blog because I didn't think I'd ever get to the end of
a book. Now I think I can. I'll add new posts here too.
Fingers are very crossed for the next stage. Except when
they're on the keyboard
This next bit will sound like I've won some award, or I'm retiring or
something. But I'm so aware of it all right now.
Thanks to family and friends, who I love and depend on.
Thanks too to everyone who's been reading these posts.
Some of the posts here will become part of the book.
The poems may be part of a poetry pamphlet.
Much appreciation and many thanks to Penny Luithlen. Penny's
supported and represented me since I first submitted to
publishers, and she'll go on representing me for my
previous work. Thanks to everyone who's published
my writing so far.
Who knows what will happen. But when do we ever know?
